La luz tiene efectos pr\u00e1cticos, simb\u00f3licos, emocionales y est\u00e9ticos dentro de las escenas, introduciendo al espectador en la obra\u201d afirma Eduardo Mataix, director deneral de Philips Alumbrado. \u201cEste acuerdo representa una demostraci\u00f3n de las innovadoras soluciones de iluminaci\u00f3n que cuenta Philips en la milla de oro teatral de Madrid\u201d<\/p>\n<p>El hoy llamado <b>Teatro de la Luz Philips Gran V\u00eda<\/b>fue inaugurado el 21 de agosto de 1944, bajo la denominaci\u00f3n de Teatro Gran V\u00eda, con un aforo de 1.018 butacas. Su arquitecto fue Germ\u00e1n \u00c1lvarez de Sotomayor. Ocup\u00f3 parte del madrile\u00f1o Mercado de los Mostenses y en su \u00e9poca se le consider\u00f3 como uno de los mejores de Europa. Su coste fue de 6 millones de pesetas y s\u00f3lo en su decoraci\u00f3n se gastaron 3,3 millones de pesetas.<\/p>\n<p>En la imagen, Eduardo Mataix, director de Philips Lighting; y Enrique
