El Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE) ha nombrado a D\u00f6rte Spengler-Ahrens, presidenta de Jung von Matt, como nueva presidenta del certamen publicitario europeo. Su designaci\u00f3n abre una nueva etapa para la entidad, que busca reforzar su papel como plataforma de referencia para la excelencia creativa en el continente.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El nombramiento coincide con el 35 aniversario de los ADCE Awards<\/strong> y con la puesta en marcha de una estructura renovada para sus premios, orientada a ampliar la participaci\u00f3n y reflejar de forma m\u00e1s representativa la diversidad del talento creativo europeo.<\/p>\n

Fortalecer la comunidad creativa<\/h3>\n

Spengler-Ahrens, una de las figuras creativas m\u00e1s reconocidas de Alemania, cuenta con una amplia trayectoria en el desarrollo de agencias, equipos y trabajos con proyecci\u00f3n internacional. Desde su nueva responsabilidad, impulsar\u00e1 una etapa centrada en fortalecer la colaboraci\u00f3n entre la comunidad creativa europea<\/strong> y consolidar el posicionamiento de ADCE como gran referente del sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cMi deseo es que ADCE se convierta en el premio m\u00e1s reconocido, relevante y prestigioso de Europa<\/strong>. Har\u00e9 todo lo que est\u00e9 en mi mano para conseguir y mantener ese estatus\u201d, ha se\u00f1alado la nueva presidenta.<\/p>\n

La directiva tambi\u00e9n ha destacado por su compromiso con la diversidad, la igualdad y el impulso del liderazgo femenino<\/strong> en la industria creativa. Fue la primera mujer en presidir ADC Germany, donde promovi\u00f3 una mayor atenci\u00f3n a la inclusi\u00f3n y la representaci\u00f3n bajo la visi\u00f3n de \u201ccambiar el mundo con creatividad\u201d.<\/p>\n

En este sentido, Spengler-Ahrens ha subrayado que las mujeres siguen estando infrarrepresentadas en los puestos de liderazgo creativo,<\/strong> aunque ha destacado el papel de ADCE como una excepci\u00f3n dentro del sector, al mantener una cuota paritaria en su estructura.<\/p>\n

Renovaci\u00f3n de los premios<\/strong><\/h3>\n

La renovaci\u00f3n de ADCE tambi\u00e9n alcanza a su sistema de elegibilidad. Hasta ahora, los premios estaban abiertos \u00fanicamente a trabajos ganadores o finalistas en competiciones de clubes miembros. Con el nuevo modelo, podr\u00e1n participar todos los inscritos en concursos organizados por los 25 clubes miembros de ADCE<\/strong>, as\u00ed como determinadas competiciones europeas impulsadas por entidades no miembro.<\/p>\n

Con este cambio, la organizaci\u00f3n busca avanzar hacia un modelo m\u00e1s inclusivo y representativo,<\/strong> abriendo nuevas oportunidades a creativos independientes, talento emergente y mercados de menor tama\u00f1o, y reflejando mejor la pluralidad de culturas y perspectivas que conviven en la creatividad europea.<\/p>\n

D\u00f6rte Spengler-Ahrens inici\u00f3 su carrera tras estudiar Visual Communication y ha ocupado puestos clave en Jung von Matt, donde fue la primera mujer en convertirse en directora creativa<\/strong>. En 2000 fund\u00f3 MARIA<\/strong>, considerada la primera agencia alemana liderada por mujeres, y posteriormente regres\u00f3 a Jung von Matt como socia, impulsando varias compa\u00f1\u00edas dentro de la red.<\/p>\n

A lo largo de su carrera ha trabajado para marcas como BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Sixt, NIVEA, Zalando o BVG, y ha formado parte de jurados y festivales internacionales como The One Show, ADC Awards, Cannes Lions, LIA, Clio Awards, Eurobest, D&AD y New York Festivals.<\/p>\n

Su trayectoria ha sido reconocida con numerosos galardones, entre ellos el premio Germany\u2019s Agency Person of the Year en los Horizont Awards 2018, el Braveheart Award en los Best Agency Awards 2023 y el prestigioso LIA Legend Award en 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n
