En esta ocasi\u00f3n, el organismo europeo analizar\u00e1 si la firma estadounidense ha vulnerado varias normas de competencia de la Uni\u00f3n Europea por el uso del contenido de los editores web y de los v\u00eddeos de Youtube en los res\u00famenes de IA de su buscador (AI Overviews) y su Modo IA (AI Mode).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seg\u00fan han informado desde la Comisi\u00f3n, la investigaci\u00f3n se centrar\u00e1 en ver si Google ha utilizado el contenido de los editores web para ofrecer servicios de IA generativa &#8211; en concreto, AI Overviews y Modo IA- en sus p\u00e1ginas de resultados de b\u00fasqueda sin haber compensado de forma adecuada a los editores y\/o no haberles ofrecido la opci\u00f3n de rechazar dicho uso.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAdem\u00e1s, muchos editores dependen del buscador de Google para el tr\u00e1fico de usuario, y no quieren correr el riesgo de perderlo\u201d, a\u00f1aden en su comunicado.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Tambi\u00e9n revisar\u00e1n si la firma que dirige Sundar Pichai emplea el contenido de v\u00eddeo que suben los creadores de contenido a Youtube para entrenar sus modelos de IA generativa<\/strong>, sin haberles compensado adecuadamente y sin ofrecerles la opci\u00f3n de rechazar dicho empleo, ya que, seg\u00fan recuerdan desde la instituci\u00f3n europea, \u201cGoogle no remunera a los creadores de contenido de Youtube por su contenido ni les deja subir su contenido en Youtube sin permitir a Google que use sus datos\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAl mismo tiempo, <strong>los desarrolladores de modelos de IA rivales tienen prohibido por las pol\u00edticas de Youtube usar el contenido de Youtube para entrenar sus propios modelos de IA<\/strong>\u201d, informan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De demostrarse estas pr\u00e1cticas, la compa\u00f1\u00eda podr\u00eda haber incumplido varias normas de competencia de la Uni\u00f3n Europea, en concreto, el art\u00edculo 102 del Tratado de Funcionamiento de la Uni\u00f3n Europea y el art\u00edculo 54 del \u00c1rea Econ\u00f3mica Europea. De momento se desconoce la fecha aproximada de cu\u00e1ndo finalizar\u00e1 dicha investigaci\u00f3n.
