Bajo el lema <\/b>Care for today, respect for tomorrow<\/i><\/b>, la compa\u00f1\u00eda integra el respeto por el medio ambiente, el bienestar de las personas y la innovaci\u00f3n responsable en cada decisi\u00f3n. Este enfoque se traduce en acciones concretas que abarcan desde la reducci\u00f3n de emisiones y el uso de energ\u00edas renovables, hasta el dise\u00f1o de productos m\u00e1s saludables y envases m\u00e1s sostenibles.<\/b><\/p>\n

1. Compromiso Net Zero<\/b><\/h3>\n

Lotus Bakeries ha formulado una hoja de ruta de descarbonizaci\u00f3n, validada por la iniciativa Science Based Targets (SBTi), para convertirse en net zero en 2050 y reafirmando su compromiso con la descarbonizaci\u00f3n a largo plazo. La compa\u00f1\u00eda se compromete a reducir sus emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero en toda su cadena de valor, en l\u00ednea con el Acuerdo de Par\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. 100% electricidad verde en todas las f\u00e1bricas europeas<\/b><\/h3>\n

Desde 2022, todas las plantas de producci\u00f3n en Europa funcionan exclusivamente con electricidad procedente de fuentes renovables.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

3. Reducci\u00f3n del 20% en emisiones de CO2 por tonelada producida<\/b><\/h3>\n

En los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os, la compa\u00f1\u00eda ha logrado una reducci\u00f3n significativa de su huella de carbono relativa, gracias a mejoras en eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y log\u00edstica.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Packaging m\u00e1s sostenible<\/b><\/h3>\n

M\u00e1s del 98% de todos los envases de Lotus Bakeries son t\u00e9cnicamente reciclables y Lotus Bakeries trabaja para alcanzar el 100% en todos sus productos, priorizando materiales monopl\u00e1sticos y soluciones de menor impacto ambiental. Con el objetivo de alcanzar el 100% para finales de 2025, la empresa ha redise\u00f1ado sus envases para facilitar su reciclabilidad sin comprometer la calidad del producto.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Compromiso contra la deforestaci\u00f3n<\/b><\/h3>\n

Lotus Bakeries se compromete a no deforestaci\u00f3n en sus materias primas clave vinculadas a este riesgo, con una fecha objetivo del 31 de diciembre de 2025. Las materias primas m\u00e1s relacionadas con la deforestaci\u00f3n en su cadena de suministro son el aceite de palma, el cacao, la soja y la madera (papel y pulpa).<\/span><\/p>\n

La empresa selecciona cuidadosamente a sus proveedores seg\u00fan est\u00e1ndares responsables de abastecimiento, basados en NDPE: No Deforestaci\u00f3n, No Turba, No Explotaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

Todos los sitios que procesan aceite de palma cuentan con certificaci\u00f3n RSPO, y se solicita a los proveedores que apoyen proyectos locales de conversi\u00f3n, restauraci\u00f3n de bosques y sostenibilidad en las \u00e1reas de producci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. Trazabilidad y sostenibilidad de materias primas clave<\/b><\/h3>\n

Lotus Bakeries trabaja activamente para garantizar que ingredientes como el aceite de palma, el cacao y los frutos secos provengan de fuentes responsables, certificadas y trazables, en l\u00ednea con sus compromisos de abastecimiento sostenible.<\/span><\/p>\n

La nueva planta de Biscoff en Tailandia y la instalaci\u00f3n de n\u0101kd, en Sud\u00e1frica, han sido dise\u00f1adas con criterios de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y sostenibilidad desde su concepci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

8. Alianzas con impacto positivo<\/b><\/h3>\n

La compa\u00f1\u00eda colabora con organizaciones como Too Good To Go para reducir el desperdicio alimentario y con Golazo para promover h\u00e1bitos de vida saludables a trav\u00e9s del deporte.<\/span><\/p>\n

9. Snacks m\u00e1s saludables y naturales<\/b><\/h3>\n

A trav\u00e9s de su divisi\u00f3n Natural Foods, Lotus impulsa marcas como Bear, n\u0101kd. y Trek, que ofrecen productos 100% vegetales, sin az\u00facares a\u00f1adidos y con ingredientes m\u00ednimamente procesados.<\/span><\/p>\n
