El festival publicitario colombiano El Dorado rendir\u00e1 homenaje al publicista Juan Carlos Ortiz en la edici\u00f3n de 2024 del certamen, que se celebrar\u00e1 los d\u00edas 2 y 3 de octubre en Altos de Chical\u00e1 (Colombia).\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Este reconocimiento, conocido como el <\/span>premio \u2018Leyenda ElDorado\u2019<\/b>, celebra la labor del publicista dedicada a redefinir la publicidad y la creatividad en Colombia y en el mundo. Ortiz inici\u00f3 su carrera en Leo Burnett Colombia, con cargos como director creativo y posteriormente presidente.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Se convirti\u00f3 en el primer latinoamericano en liderar una multinacional publicitaria en Estados Unidos, estuvo al frente de<\/span> Leo Burnett USA<\/b> y, posteriormente, aterriz\u00f3 en 2008 a DDB, con el objetivo de crear<\/span> DDB Latina<\/b>, desarrollando las oficinas de EEUU, Am\u00e9rica Latina y Espa\u00f1a. A finales del a\u00f1o pasado, el profesional dejaba DDB, tras m\u00e1s de 15 a\u00f1os vinculado a la compa\u00f1\u00eda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En 2022, lider\u00f3 la creatividad de DDB a nivel mundial, llev\u00e1ndola a convertirse, por primera vez, en la red m\u00e1s creativa del Festival de Cannes en 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

Juan Carlos Ortiz cre\u00f3 el sistema <\/span>Bullseye<\/b>, implementado en <\/span>DDB Worldwide<\/b>, con resultados destacados como 264 Leones y cuatro Grand Prix en Cannes Lions. En reconocimiento a sus contribuciones, ha sido galardonado en m\u00faltiples ocasiones a nivel mundial, incluyendo su inclusi\u00f3n en el Hall of Achievement de la Federaci\u00f3n Estadounidense de Publicidad y el reconocimiento especial del Congreso de los Estados Unidos en 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n
