El \u00faltimo caso ha sido BP, que en su \u00faltima reuni\u00f3n con inversores, fue testigo de c\u00f3mo parte de sus accionistas aplaud\u00edan a los protestantes que entraron en la \u00faltima reuni\u00f3n con inversores para pedir a la firma petrol\u00edfera que tomara responsabilidades por su papel en la crisis clim\u00e1tica actual.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En la \u00faltima reuni\u00f3n con inversores de BP, al menos cuatro personas procedentes del grupo Fossil Free London fueron sacadas a la fuerza poco tiempo despu\u00e9s de comenzar su discurso el presidente de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, Helge Lund. Los protestantes interrumpieron la intervenci\u00f3n de Lund exigiendo a la petrolera que tomara responsabilidades por su papel en la crisis clim\u00e1tica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La sorpresa lleg\u00f3 cuando <strong>varios de los inversores presentes aplaudieron a los arrestados, reflejo del desacuerdo que existe en una parte de los accionistas de BP<\/strong> ante la reciente decisi\u00f3n de la compa\u00f1\u00eda de reducir parte de sus compromisos clim\u00e1ticos adquiridos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El enfado de los inversores tambi\u00e9n se evidenci\u00f3 con el porcentaje de aquellos que votaron en contra de reelegir un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s a Helge Lund como presidente. <strong>En 2023, un 10% vot\u00f3 en contra ante la decisi\u00f3n de debilitar sus pol\u00edticas clim\u00e1ticas frente al 3% de 2022.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desde 2019, en su informe BP Energy Look, la compa\u00f1\u00eda viene anunciando la necesidad de continuar invirtiendo en nuevas reservas de petr\u00f3leo para satisfacer la demanda de esta fuente de energ\u00eda en 2040, a pesar de los efectos que ya se dejan ver en el clima y los problemas de salud que afrontan los empleados en algunas zonas como el sur de Iraq, por la quema de gases de sus pozos
