Algunas de ellas pioneras, como cuando consigui\u00f3 ser el primer director creativo mundial espa\u00f1ol de una red, Leo Burnett. Su amor a la creatividad, a crear escuela y formar creativos han sido tambi\u00e9n fundamentales en su elecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Furones consigui\u00f3 ser el primer director creativo mundial espa\u00f1ol de una red, Leo Burnett<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La decisi\u00f3n de conceder a Miguel \u00c1ngel Furones\u00a0este galard\u00f3n <strong>fue\u00a0tomada un\u00e1nimemente<\/strong>\u00a0por una comisi\u00f3n compuesta por la presidenta del c de c, M\u00f3nica Moro, y por aquellos\u00a0socios que han obtenido este reconocimiento en ediciones anteriores: Luis Casadevall, Miki Heras, Manuel Valmorisco, Toni Segarra, Marta Rico, Miguel Garc\u00eda Vizca\u00edno, Jos\u00e9 Luis Esteo, Daniel Solana\u00a0y Concha Wert.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Carrera internacional<\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Licenciado en Sociolog\u00eda y diplomado en Publicidad, Miguel \u00c1ngel Furones <strong>inici\u00f3 su carrera como creativo, primero en JWT y despu\u00e9s en Contrapunto<\/strong>. En 1980 fundaba en Madrid, <strong>Vitruvio-30<\/strong>, con apoyo de capital de la propia Contrapunto, y, 10 a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, la agencia se fusionaba con la multinacional estadounidense Leo Burnett. Poco despu\u00e9s, Furones era designado <strong>presidente de Leo Burnett Espa\u00f1a y Portugal y, m\u00e1s tarde, director creativo de Leo Burnett Europa, Medio Oriente y \u00c1frica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante este tiempo, Vitruvio Leo Burnett Madrid fue elegida tres veces Global Agency of The Year of Leo Burnett Worldwide en menos de seis a\u00f1os. En este periodo tambi\u00e9n ejerci\u00f3 como <strong>presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Agencias de Publicidad (AEAP)<\/strong>, y fue presidente del jurado de los festivales de publicidad El Sol, FIAP, Golden Drum y El Chupete.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>En enero de 2010 fue nombrado presidente de Publicis Iberia<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En 2001 fue nombrado <em>deputy chief creative officer<\/em> y, poco despu\u00e9s, <strong>director creativo mundial de Leo Burnett, sustituyendo a Michael Conrad<\/strong>. El 17 de diciembre de 2007 anunciaba su retirada del mundo profesional, quedando como consultor para el nuevo presidente de la compa\u00f1\u00eda. Tras un a\u00f1o sab\u00e1tico, volvi\u00f3 al mundo laboral para ponerse al frente de <strong>Ignitionk en Madrid, agencia creada por el Grupo Publicis para llevar la cuenta de Orange, y, en enero de 2010, fue nombrado presidente de Publicis Iberia<\/strong>, puesto que desempe\u00f1\u00f3 hasta diciembre del 2017, cuando pas\u00f3 a ocupar un cargo honor\u00edfico dentro de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.Furones fue tambi\u00e9n un prol\u00edfico escritor, su otra gran pasi\u00f3n. Escribi\u00f3 varios libros: \u2018El mundo de la publicidad\u2019 (1980), \u2018El color de las palabras\u2019 (1998), \u2018Quince historias que vienen a cuento\u2019 (1999), \u2018Tres mil a\u00f1os de internet\u2019 (2010) y \u2018El escritor de anuncios\u2019 (2012), su primera novela, que en pocos d\u00edas agot\u00f3 su primera edici\u00f3n y que, meses despu\u00e9s, se public\u00f3 en M\u00e9xico y en otros pa\u00edses de Latinoam\u00e9rica. Su segunda novela fue \u2018Primera Clase\u2019 (2014) y la tercera, \u2018El t\u00e9 de Kunming\u2019 (2017).
